Postdoctoral Mentoring
Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center has developed a program to ensure that all postdoctoral trainees in Holden labs have mentoring committees that meet regularly. This program is designed to recognize individual aspirations and foster the successful pursuit of individual career goals.
T32 Programs Funding Cancer Trainees at Iowa
Funding for postdoctoral work is essential. Trainees in Holden-affiliated labs receive support through 15 different NIH T32 training grants, including:
- Program in Hematology: Molecular & Cell Biology of Blood Cells
- Research Training Program for Otolaryngology
- Training Program in Free Radical and Radiation Biology
