Background: Des Moines, Iowa
Growing up, I have always been curious about how things work, which led me to develop an interest in science. During my undergraduate studies, I became particularly interested in how molecular mechanisms work and how understanding these mechanisms can contribute to the development of treatments for diseases such as cancer.
After completing the ICARE program, I plan to pursue a Ph.D. and build a career as a cancer researcher, with a focus on drug discovery and development.
In my free time, I enjoy running, trying new recipes, and spending time with friends.
