Background: I am from Bettendorf, Iowa, and recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Biomedical Sciences.
I developed an interest in medicine through my experiences working with patients and conducting research. Seeing the impact that healthcare professionals can have on patients and their families motivated me to pursue a career where I can combine scientific problem-solving with direct patient care.
After completing the ICARE program, I plan to attend medical school and become a physician. I am particularly interested in continuing to explore how research and technology can be used to improve patient outcomes and make healthcare more accessible.
In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, spending time with friends, following new developments in science and technology, and exploring new places.
