Background: My hometown is Trumbull, CT

I’ve always had a strong interest in science, especially biology, even as a little kid. In my junior year of high school, I got to take an early-enrollment class through the University of Connecticut: Principles of Biology. It was through this class that my interest in biomedicine and cancer research was really unlocked. I’ve been chasing opportunities for cancer research ever since. I did my undergraduate degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia, majoring in Molecular Biology & Genetics.

After graduating I worked in a microbiology lab at Wellesley College for a year. I started in the Cho lab in January 2026, and I will be studying potentially novel immune-modulatory molecules in the context of non-small-cell lung cancer. My larger career goals are to understand the interactions between the immune system and the tumor microenvironment of solid tumors, and to develop new cancer therapeutics. Outside of the lab, I am an avid reader, especially fantasy and science fiction. I also enjoy rowing on the Iowa River during the months of nice weather.
